Battery Bar Terms of Service and License Agreement

Welcome to Battery Bar for Android (the “Software” or “Application”), provided by Data Automation Professionals, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using this Application, you agree to be bound by this Terms of Service and License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Application.

1. Commercial Software License

This Application is licensed, not sold, by Data Automation Professionals. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application on your personal Android devices strictly for its intended purpose.

• Usage Restrictions: This Application is for the licensed user’s own use only and may not be copied, shared, resold, sublicensed, or otherwise distributed to any third party.
• Engineering Restrictions: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of this Application without prior written consent from Data Automation Professionals.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and intellectual property in this Application (including all code, interface designs, graphics, and visual layouts) remain the exclusive property of Data Automation Professionals.

3. Application Functionality and Permissions

Battery Bar operates by reading hardware states locally on your device to display dynamic battery overlays and system alerts. To provide these features, the Application requires you to grant certain system-level permissions, including Bluetooth accessory access, system overlay capabilities (Usage Access), notification shade access, and the Wear OS data layer.

• You acknowledge that denying these permissions may cause the Application to malfunction or fail to display entirely.
• Your use of these features and our handling of device data are strictly governed by our separate Battery Bar Privacy Policy.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes. You strictly agree not to:

• Use the Application in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the performance of your device operating system or host interfaces.
• Circumvent or bypass any digital rights management (DRM) or licensing verification checks built into the Application.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license to use the Application at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and uninstall it from your devices.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Data Automation Professionals disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the visual overlays will be completely uninterrupted or free from minor layout anomalies across all custom Android variations.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Data Automation Professionals be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages – including but not limited to device performance degradation, battery hardware wear, or loss of data – arising out of your use or inability to use the Application, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update this Agreement from time to time to reflect operating system changes or application updates. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will signify when changes have occurred. Your continued use of the Application after updates take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
